Zimbelman Construction has completed more than 500 homes since our founding in 1992. From HUD entry level housing, to estate homes with several thousand square feet, we have covered the spectrum of residential construction. All of these homes have been supervised by the owners of the company, Tony and Taylor Zimbelman. We do not have jobsite superintendents or project managers. We have always felt the best way to serve our clients is to be personally accessible when needed. We try to be at every jobsite daily to keep things organized, scheduled and operating smoothly. We are also your warranty company should anything go wrong after the completion of your home. When making a decision to hire a contractor you should ask them who you will be working with, the company owners, or their office staff and project managers.
Whether you have a home plan you have sketched out, found a plan online or need an architect to help you plan your building project, we have the expertise to help you through the planning process. We can connect you with architects, draftsman, interior decorators, cabinet specialists and plumbing fixture and light fixture suppliers. All of the important decisions can be made before construction starts, making the building process considerably smoother. As always, you will be working directly with the owners of the company, not with an office assistant or a project manager.
Although residential construction is our main function, the company does some remodeling work each year. Kitchen and bath remodels, room additions and basement finishes are all projects we have taken on. Remodels are different in that most of the time we need to keep the clients living in their home while it is being torn up and put back together. We are fully aware of the trust our clients have in us that allows us to enter their homes and work each day. We do not take that trust lightly.
Tony’s background in commercial construction has allowed the company to take on some light commercial projects. Commercial remodels, tenant finishes and small commercial buildings are all well within our capabilities. By partnering up with local architects, we can produce the necessary blueprints and documents to obtain commercial building permits from the plan review phase to the final permit. Our same material suppliers and trade partners perform the work under our supervision. If you have light commercial building projects, we can help you through the process from start to finish.
